Technology is a source that mostly a huge percentage of students get distracted by the use of it during class. Technology has hampered student’s abilities to think cognitively and creatively. When you have a tool as useful and speedy as a smartphone at hand, many of us would be tempted to take a moment and “peek”. Then that becomes a problem because students stop focusing on what they are supposed to be doing. Therefore, students are distracted by their handheld devices.
