What is white privilege? White privilege you may not know if you have it but you will know if you don’t. White privilege are the benefits that white people get from society that people of color don’t. White privilege is a luxury that white people have of not being judged off the top. Does white privilege exist? With everything that has been going on, it’s something that is hard to miss or pretend it doesn’t exist. White privilege is a ticket to anything that everybody else is excluded from because of their skin color. Louis C.K. once said, “here’s how great it is to be white, I could get in a time machine and go to any time and it would be f****ng awesome when I get there. That is exclusively a white privilege.” Most black men are called the “N” word and they are afraid to saying anything back because they are afraid to get shot by a police officer. After reading this all I thought of was Everyone Hates Chris. In one of the episodes that I can’t manage to find at this point in time. I found it completely interesting because in this episode he was left by the field trip bus with one of his white privileged classmates. The white privilege classmate wanted to steal stuff from the store so he made Chris go to the front of the store so he can distract the employee, he did exactly that. The employee ended up flowing Chris around and the privilege white boy manage to steal all the things that he wanted because everyone at the store was focused on the only black male in the store.
