Dogs versus Cats. Marvel versus DC. Democrats versus Republicans. These are some of the most famous rivalries in history, though the latter may have more in common than you think. Although there are obvious differences between Democrats and Republicans, the similarities in their views, history, and methods of campaigning are striking.
Democrats and Republicans share some views and beliefs. Democrats tend to be more progressive and Republicans more conservative, but there are things both parties agree on. They both believe that it is okay to allow drones to patrol U.S. skies. Democrats believe that we must give up a bit of privacy to have protection. Republicans agree, believing that catching potential terrorists is much more important than not wanting the President to possibly see your text about needing more shampoo.
