Describe forms of abuse which may be experienced by adults
Vulnerable adults are people who are at greater than normal risk of abuse. Older adults, particularly those who are ill, frail, confused and incapable either to stand up for themselves or keep track of their affairs, are considered vulnerable. Abuse can happen to vulnerable adults anywhere but mainly abuse occurs in their home, in hospital or nursing and residential homes. Often Older people are most at risk of abuse at home for a number of reasons some of which are; they are isolated and don't have much contact with friends, family or neighbours, people with memory problems or difficulty communicating with others, people who don't get on with their carer, those whose career is addicted to drugs or alcohol, or people whose carer depends on them for a home and financial and emotional support. There are many forms of abuse some of which are; physical, domestic and financial which I am going to go into more

Domestic abuse may include;
The use of PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL ABUSE
Hair pulling, biting, shaking, pushing, pinching, choking, kicking, confinement, slapping, hitting, punching, using weapons, forced intercourse, unwanted sexual touching in public or in private and depriving her of food or sleep.
The use of EMOTIONAL ABUSE
Putting down her friends and family
Making her think she's crazy
Humiliating her
Making her feel guilty
The use of ECONOMIC ABUSE
Preventing her from getting or keeping a job
Giving her an allowance
Not letting her know about or have access to family income
Not allowing her a voice in important financial
