This presidential debate has allowed me to open my eyes to a whole new side of politics. I have most definitely taken a side when it comes to this presidential election. However, there are some things that I like about both candidates and things that I do not like about either candidate. To begin, Donald Trump has been known as the aggressive candidate in this race. Something that I liked about Donald Trump during the first presidential debate was that he was very composed in the beginning of the debate. Since Trump is known for speaking without thinking, I think he did a very good job in the beginning of the debate. He kept his cool and answered a couple questions without being outrageously rude. I think that Trump did a good job when he interrupted and used the interruption wisely to form a good attack against Clinton. An example of Trump creating a senseless interruption was when Lester said that stop and frisk was ruled unconstitutional in New York due to it singling out African Americans and Hispanics, after Lester said this Trump went on to say that he was wrong about this fact. I do not believe that factual evidence can be wrong, but it was apparent that Trump had every intention to prove that it was not a fact. In my opinion being rude to the monorator only gives the people of America a negative view of Trump that they have seen way too often. Another thing that I did not like that Trump said during the debate was that he used his formation of his businesses to create some type of credibility for himself. I did not like this because he is running for a political office not to create a new business. Moreover, I did not like when Trump decided to give a statistic about the number of people that have been murdered in Chicago since President Obama has been in office.
