Scotch Tape is a horrendous malevolence to humanity. The tape that many praise and write encomiums for and others believe to be the most evolved of its kind is nothing more than a go lucky, wimpy, addictive version to that of the other tapes made. It’s not: as tough or durable as duct tape, as shocking as electrical tape, able to take the heat like Heat Shrink Tape, or as doubly useful as Double Sided Tape. No. This pathetic excuse for an adhesive has problems showing itself when in most need due to its transparent properties. Unlike other types of tape which is in most cases used for positive activities only; Scotch can become like a drug to some of those persons who are OCD, creating an addicting feeling for them… trapping them in its sticky, yet soft surface as if they were insects stuck to a spider’s web. The pleasure provided by this substance makes the person want it more… and more, leading them and others to buy for them excessive packages of this devious tape. And yet the most guileful part of this plan is the fact that this tape is so inexpensive at the beginning it doesn’t seem that the extravagant purchase and overuse of the tape is putting a dent in one’s wallet; yet as the months and a few years pass the money will be missed and its deficiency can be accurately blamed on the Scotch Tape. One could go so far as to make claim- and properly do so- that Scotch Tape is most used to make wrappings look nice for a little bit… and then it is ripped to shreds used for
