In Dr.King's letter from a Birmingham a jail i do agree strongly with his stance. Dr. King's stance is standing up for himself, birmingham, and peace equality. One of the things Dr. King said in his letter was “He can not sit idly and in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. He also he also said that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. What i think is Dr. King is trying to bring justice justice to the street and the city of Birmingham. Also in the letter it said he was asked to to be engaged in a nonviolent direct action program and when the hour came it had to be done to help the people. The nations of Asia and Africa are moving very fast into growing political independence, but we still are slow into getting a cup of coffee at a lunch counter. It might not be easy for the people who have never felt the pain of racism to say “wait” ; when you have seen vicious mobs hang your mother and fathers, and drown your brothers and sisters at will; when you have seen hating police officers curse, punch, and even kill our black community; when you see over 20 million black men all in a cage of poverty of an affluent of society; when you have to watch a commercial that tells your 6 year old kid that the amusement park is closed to all colored people; when you have to make up an answer for your 5 year old son who keeps asking why do white people treat colored people so mean; when you you take a long drive and see a white person sticking the middle finger up and calling you a nigger; when you are harried by the day and haunted by the night the fact that you are a nigger. All black people are treated the same in this time it doesn't matter who you are or what you do in your life. We just have to obey the the the laws and one may ask how are you able to break some laws and obeying others? But i would say an unjust law is no law at all.
