Dr. King’s message was to tell every individual that he/she should not be afraid of the different race. Instead Dr King was trying to make the point that everybody different skin color or not we should all be unified as one nation so we can become stronger as a country.Dr. King used a weapon called rhetorical devices such as propaganda which a statement about an event;although, Dr King used anaphora to make a point.. Dr. King used propaganda to make people who are stereotypical feel disgusted with himself. Dr. King used anaphora to start each paragraph to make people understand that he is trying to make a point. The example Dr. King used for anaphora was “I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.”The example Dr. King used for propaganda was”I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification." The use of rhetoric makes Br.
