Dramatic Irony In Romeo And Juliet

In Romeo and Juliet acts l and ll, I believe the male characters create the most dramatic irony. Because Of the events taken place, the male gender caught my eye the most during the play. First, Romeo proves that he bases his love off of looks. He says "Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night." (1014). Before the party he was lovesick about Rosaline, but then he sees Juliet at the party and falls in love instantly. Next, Tybalt brings out the emotion of being short fused. Tybalt says "now by the stock and honor of my kin, to strike him dead I hold not a sin." (1014) The reason Tybalt says this is because he sees Romeo at the party and immediately wants to kill him. Lastly, Mercutio shows the
