Plot:
Beginning of Dream Girls there was three friends that had dreams to become famous for singing. Effie, Deena, and Lorrell would sneak out their homes just to attend talent shows and with concerts. The song that made the Dreamgirls famous was “Move” they performed at the talent show. After, they performed at the talent show the Dreamettes were offered the opportunity to sing back up from James Earl. James Early and Lorrell developed a relationship while on tour together. Lorrell knew Early had a wife at home, but that didn’t effect her feelings towards him. Once the Dreamettes were discovered and signed a contract with Cadillac records they started traveling, doing different shows for themselves. As the movie went on they still did back up singing from time to time. The Dreamgirls started making videos and performing on television. In the middle of Dreamgirls the group became known all around the world. The Dreamgirls started recording more songs and finally recorded an album. When watching Dreamgirls I felt a high level of emotion throughout the movie. Several scenes were emotional to me, but a few scenes really hit me the most. When Effie got kicked out the group they treated her so badly and judge her so quick, but none of them knew her situation and felt bad after she told them. The last scene that touched me emotionally was when Deena left Curtis because of all the things he had done. She didn’t want to, but she did what was best for her. Yes, I think future generations will watch this movie and enjoy it as well. I think they’ll enjoy it because it tells and shows no matter whom your friends are they will turn their back on you if there is a better opportunity out there for
