How important are dreams to you? Do you use them as motivation to work harder towards your goal? Dreams can play big parts in people’s life, look at NFL, NBA, MLB players, they all had dreams of doing what they're doing right now. All the players worked hard for it and now they are doing what they have always dreamed about. In John Steinbeck's Of Mice Of Men, dreams play a pretty big role in George, Lennie, Candy's life. They all worked for it but unfortunately they dream didn’t come true of having their own farm.

Dreams play a big role in people’s lives. For example, Michael Vick, since he was a kid he had a dream of playing in the NFL. So Michael worked almost everyday to achieve his goal. In college he worked even harder to be a top prospect. When the NFL draft came, he was drafted #1 because of all his hard work. Michael Vick went on to become the one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Vick had a quote which was “If it's meant to be for you, it's going to happen.”. That's where dreaming can get you.

How do people use dreams and various characters dreams affect them? People use there dreams and sometimes other people's dream to motivate themselves to strive for that dream. George had a dream of having his own farm, Lennie used George's dream to motivate himself. George told Lennie, “Lennie one day… we will have a piece of land in the alfalfa, we just gotta get the money first”. They used that dream to work harder and better for the money.

To conclude, dreams play a big role on people's lives. Dreams motivate people to strive for it or work harder. In Of Mice of Men it played a role on George, Lennie, and Candy's
