All you kids who suffer from the pain of looking like an elf in funky shoes, you young ones who wish and dream of expressing yourself, I'm writing for you. Dress codes have been implemented in a multitude of places for various reasons. I can see that dress codes need to be applied for example the military or major chain restaurants. However in other areas like schools, small locally owned businesses, or even shoes on professional players should not need a dress code because that is a waste of individuality, people should be allowed freedom of expression, and it helps spread new ideas and trends.

Many professional players in sports like customizing their clothing. For example: Odell Beckham Jr, wide receiver of the New York Giants, has many different styles of cleats that he customizes. People are always into discovering creativity ideas and clothing does just that. People are always wearing new exclusive sneakers or a different wash of jeans that sparks a new conversation. As a result, kids are starting modern trends of contemporary clothing that revolutionizes their thought and speech.

Some individuals think that not having dress codes are a bad thing. They could disrupt classes, provoke disliking and most dress codes are outdated because of differences that people have on agreeing for a dress code. These things can produce more problems in schools or professional sports.

People are tired of having to abide by rules of what to wear. Which is why I believe many schools and organizations should eliminate dress code because that is a waste of individuality, people should be allowed freedom of expression, and it helps spread new ideas and
