Drug addiction seems to remain one of the most significant obstacles that the women of Doors of Hope have to overcome on their road to recovery. Two girls that are fairly new to the program relapsed over the past two weeks, and there is suspicion that one more may have. From a cognitive perspective, all disorders result from dysfunctional thought patterns and belief systems. Since drug addiction is a disorder, it must have some dysfunctional thoughts and beliefs that fuel it.
