Junior Research Paper; Drugs Should Not Be Allowed in Hall of Fame
Many years ago it was rare that you would see an athlete getting suspended and or banned for being tested and it should be stopped before everyone gets caught for doing it. However nowadays you see people getting suspended left and right for not only taking drugs but also abusing it to the fullest or power. Drugs should not be allowed in The HOF because they cheat to be successful. Also because it takes away from those who actually work hard to be successful, and another reason is because it tarnishes their reputation on how people feel about them and the amount of fans they have. Background: People who take drugs should not be allowed in the HOF because of the fact it says in the rule book that you will be tested and also it says that You will be suspended and or banned if caught taking the drug. People try and take it only once and get away with it, but then it becomes a habit and then you keep doing it until you get tested and then, boom you are caught and suspended. If you were to take steroids you get suspended and or banned and it tarnishes your reputation of being able to even come close to getting into the HOF. Also to get into the HOF you have to do a lot not just do something for one season, you need to be consistent and doing everything you can on the daily. You also need to be a leader and make your team better, teammates better, people who take steroids do it for themselves and the voter and or judges that determine if you go to the HOF will look at you as selfish, not someone who deserves to go into the HOF. The MLB needs to remain a drug/Steroid free zone to actually show who has talent, who is willing to go the extra mile, and someone who is loyal to his team and his
