When you drive down the road, you might notice motorcycles with their headlights on, even though it’s the middle of a day with the sun shining bright. Have you ever wondered why this is? It is to make them more visible, so they are easier to spot on the roads. Motorcycles are a lot smaller than four wheeled vehicles, which not only makes them more difficult to see, it gives less to protect the driver. What could simply be a fender bender in a sedan can be serious injury on a motorcycle. This is why you can’t drive a motorcycle with an ordinary license, rather you have to get a separate license to drive one. The rules of the road and safety become even more paramount.
