In “Dueling Dualisms”, of the book Sexing the Body, Anne Fausto-Sterling writes about the constructivism of human gender and sexuality, despite our physiological differences. She challenges universal facts, such as the existence of two sexes, two genders and two sexualities. The examples she discusses are a small range of how sex is constructed through particular standards.
