In the late 19th century, after the Industrial Revolution, imperialism began to occur more and more. Bigger, stronger, more influential countries began to take over the smaller, weaker ones to help the country's entire race become better. The more powerful countries would help the weaker countries but, in return the larger one would gain resources, spread their culture, and expand their government. While one race was being improved, the other was growing in many ways.
