The liberal explanation made more sense to me because the government can help reduce economic inequality. They have the power to raise minimum wage which is good for the little bit of jobs that people can get without seeking further education. Also, raising taxes which mostly affect the rich helps pay for health care and other service programs. These programs are helping families especially the poor.

There are many issues associated with being poor. Many people below poverty line are facing health related issues. They do not have health insurance which makes it difficult for them to get the appropriate medical help they need. Basically, if they are battling an infectious disease and or are badly injured then they will most likely avoid going
