By far Ed Gein has been the most brutal serial killer in history. His work that he committed was so disturbing that it inspired many movies to be produced for example, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc. Ed Gein was the son of George Philip and Agusta Gein. Gein was born in August 27, 1906 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Ed Gein had a rough childhood since the beginning because his father died at an early age then his brother Henry died in a fire on May 16, 1944. He grew up raised by his mother who was indeed very strict with him. Ed gein died in the 26 of July 1984 in Madison, Wisconsin. He had a weird fetish for human bodies. He liked to experiment with human taxidermy. Gein only went after women who reminded him of the image of his mother. His first victim was mary Hogan, we don’t know how he murdered her but he cut off her face and had it wrapped in paper. His last victim was Bernice worden, she was the mother of the local sherrif. Gein had shot her wounding her, put her in her own car and then drove to his home. Witnesses confirmed they had seen Ed inside the hardware store where Bernice worked trying to purchase anti-freeze. The police went to Ed’s house at dark time and first went into the shed he had outside with only lamps to see. One police officer said he bumped into something that was hanging and he turned the lamp towards it. Little did they know it was Bernice worden’s body gutted out like they do to deers with her head chopped off and cut open from the chest to her vagina.
He had been arrested the following day the police found the body of Bernice worden. In 1968 ed gein was trialed and was found guilty for murder but he was considered insane. He was sent to Mendota Mental Health Institute where he died of cancer- induced liver and respitory failure on July 26,
