Working within the EMS system for many years, there is not much that surprises me. However, this is not the case with the course content and assignments required within this degree program, where I am amazed by the information that I am learning each day. Even subjects that are dealt with on a day-to-day basis, I have found these courses are teaching me something that either I never gave much thought, or an angle that was never revealed. This was true with several topics, but especially with the discussion of fatigue, and of course, the impact of social media on providers and the EMS system as a whole.
