Describe your ideal study environment.

My ideal study environment is Starbucks and the library. I enjoy going to Starbucks, because its free of distractions and comfortable. It has been a little while since I have been to Starbucks. Last time I went, I was very relaxed and able to concentrate. I visit the library pretty often. The library has all the dictionaries, headsets, computers and a lot more. It is also a very quiet environment and well equipped for studying. I believe that the library is the best place to go, as far as studying.

List some of the distractions that might hinder your study progress or your performance in an online classroom.

Most of the time I do my studying at home. My two youngest, have to be watched at all times. Their ages are one and two years old, they're so sweet, but very busy. So you can only imagine what I deal with everyday. I think they're little rough and they make me nervous sometimes too, when they are playing. They also have a sharing issue. They're still learning though. I have to have them on some kind of schedule or it will be hard for me to finish my school work. The two year old, is being potty trained. The one year old just started teething.

What actions can you take to manage and eliminate distractions?

I need to standardize my schedule. So five days a week I will be doing the same routine at the same time. Giving the kids a bath at a specific time or eating they're lunch at a specific time. My schedule would become repetitive after awhile. Then I would be able to eliminate barriers within my schedule, because I'll be seeing same routine everyday.

How will you apply your personal learning style? How does your personal Learning style affect your study habits?

One of my personal learning styles were Intrapersonal. I enjoy studying and working independently.
But there has been sometimes were I might need help understanding an assignment or a discussion question. The problem that I have when working with others is that I do not like a person to stand over me and tell me what I should do. It can be very annoying or distracting because I might not agree with that persons opinion. I plan to practice taking advice and to learn to work better with others. Sometimes its good to work with someone or to get their opinion, because you can learn from them.

List 5 effective study strategies from this week that you will use. Explain why you selected them and why they are effective strategies for online learning.

Taking Good Notes- when taking notes its easier for me to study, understand, and remember as long as they are really good notes. Improving Concentration-
