As said by Charles Bukowski “Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and from others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real, and I can't vent any anger against them; I only feel this appalling sadness. Somewhere in their upbringing, they were shielded against the total facts of our existence”. Censorship is used to control the views of society by those in higher positions that find it acceptable to alter the information people receive. Whether their reasoning be to completely isolate those affected, or keep certain facts and opinions hidden. The effects of censorship can cause a toxic environment that damages society.
