The people of urban and rural America lost many jobs, these jobs that were lost affected all partitions of the economy. The homeless blamed their ill will on President Hoover's direction. These individuals referred to themselves as "Hoovervilles" stating that President Hoover should fix this issue. As President of the United States, President Hoover was looked at to right the wrong of the nation. This nation wide disaster known as the depression led to several million homeless children. The hunger issues that were present throughout the country only increased the hate that most Americans had for President Hoover. These individuals that suffered from these conditions rioted in the streets of cities and tried to provide for their families the
