Several months ago I interviewed Vincent Vann_ Vice-President of the Information Technologies department at EFG companies. When I first arrived for our interview, I was quite surprise to find out that he was waiting for me in the lobby. After our greetings, he asked if I was interested in a tour of the company where he will introduce some of the executives of the company. He started with the tour throughout the company; and in every department we stop he would describe their function in the company and introduce me to the supervisor, or manager. After the tour was over, we went to his office where he offered a drink, and then we started our schedule interview.
Me: I have written few questions to ask Mr. Vann and wanted to make sure there wouldn’t be, any inappropriate question.

Vann: “relationships” he paused for a second, and then went on… most of the relations has helped me moved on different platforms. I have worked for major corporations and established great connections through the years. All these connections in one-way or another have truly helped me in my career. I haven’t applied for a job since 1984.
Me: I nodded at Mr. Vann with respect, and admiration all at the same time.
Vann: Libna! You need to be seen as accountable for, reliable, and maintain an impeccable work ethics. All these components are essential in a work place.
