When speaking on imagination, I find that Ehasz and Cheese’s interview clips address how imagination plays a key role to not only how stories are passed on to one another but also our overall experience of story. Ehasz explains through his quote “When it happens its really a gift”, the “when” being the magic or what I would call meaning (Ehasz, 2017). Listening to his clip from the perspective of a storyteller, it is not the easiest to find magic in the story they create. I take his words in a different perspective where if one is able to go into their imagination without dishonouring their story, and finds meaning, the gift is revealed.
