To be a hero one must have hope that even in the darkest of days there will be better days. Eleanor Roosevelt is one of the world’s most influential leaders doing things that only the bravest of people could achieve and changing the sameness of society. Roosevelt was the longest serving first lady in the U.S and during this she changed the role of the first lady by working not only inside of the white house but working in political debates and conferences about worldwide issues ( and at that time world war 2) and strategies. Roosevelt stood her ground despite being criticized many and placing her husband’s career in a difficult place, Roosevelt was ready for a battle and knew she would be denounced by majority but she had to change the views of society so she would be understood and encouraged by the majority of society. Leadership can be found in many but is kept hidden for the reasons of being afraid. In the end it’s not about the leadership, it’s about the initiative one is willing to take to embrace their inner leader and that’s exactly what Eleanor Roosevelt
