I'm going to get right to it. The last three months have been difficult. My two elementary age daughters knew that they would be changing schools and they were stressed out about it. My oldest is nine and she has cognitive issues as well as high energy. As many of you may know, these issues do not mix well with change. She said she was excited to go to the new school but she was acting out in anger and fighting with her sister. My seven year old daughter flat out said she was scared and teared up when driving near her beloved elementary school. She did have some excitment over meeting new friends, which she accomplishes quite well. She also wanted to scrap with her big sister all summer. I was stressed because although we were forced into leaving our elementary school, due to district changes, I chose to send my girls out of town to a wonderful school, k through 12, to keep them in a smaller school. I used all kinds of oil when ever a meltdown between the two would occur. For my older girl, we found that hormones may have played a part in her ability to cope, so we used Young Living Dragon Time and Lady Sclareol blends.
