What Happened: Several years after the end of the Holocaust, Wiesel was accepted as the honor to represent the Jews as a whole, and accept the Noble Peace Prize. He delivered a powerful message of "peace, atonement, and human dignity to humanity." He urged us to keep the memory alive and never to forget about the Holocaust. When she was in High School, her Nazi teachers taught them that Hitler helped Germany achieve greatness, fortune, and prosperity. Though, Sophie Scholl had her own opinions and started to grow away from the political views of her classmates and teachers.

What Happened: Sophie Scholl stood for what she believed and would often write letters to her boyfriend, Fritz, and write about her political views in her diary. She started to start feeling stuck in high school and stopped participating in her class. She knew that what the Germans were doing was not correct and she felt alienated because she could not confide in a classmate or teacher. She decided to follow her own thoughts and believed that others should do the same. These details reveal her attitude, and told us that she stood for what she believed in.
