Introduction
Elizabeth Cady Stanton was a person many people don’t think about today. She was one of the women who lead the women’s right’s movement. She is most known for her partnership with Susan B Anthony and the women’s rights convention she held in Seneca Falls NY. But Stanton did a lot more than this, she had many communities, families friends and idea’s that helped her get to where she was.

Thesis:
Elizabeth Cady Stanton was an influential person in the women’s rights movement, she had many people who supported her and idea’s that helped in her in accomplishing so much.

She raised her girls and boys the same way and taught them that they weren’t different.
She let all of her kids discipline themselves and didn’t have that many rules.
III. Susan B. Anthony and how their partnership encouraged the movement.
Anthony was Stanton’s best friend and without her Elizabeth would be able to achieve the heights that she did. Stanton and Anthony were a huge factor in the women’s rights movement.
Many people believe that they were one of the main factors in why women got the vote in 1920.
Stanton presented to the NY legislature and convinced them to change and amend divorce laws against women. 2. Susan and Elizabeth used their skills to get people to join the movement.
Elizabeth was a talented, amazing, and passionate writer.
Susan was a passionate and inspirational speaker.
B. Without Anthony, Stanton wouldn’t have gotten far in the movement.
Anthony and Stanton are a good team and great friends.
They worked well together because, Stanton was a talented writer and Anthony was a talented, passionate speaker.
Without Anthony, Stanton would not be nearly as involved, before she meet anthony she wasn’t as devoted to women's rights, infact, the only huge thing she had done in the movement was the convention. Therefore, without Anthony Stanton wouldn’t have been such a huge voice in the

The good that came out of this compromise was that Stanton was able to stay at home and take care of her kids. However, because Anthony was the one speaking she is recognized and more well known than Stanton.

IV. Important historical moments in Stanton’s life
The women’s rights convention and important dates. 1.The declaration of sentiments was a new and daring yet, well crafted piece for that time period.
The document proposed that all women should have a right to vote, which during the time period was a crazy idea!
It was against many laws and beliefs that people followed and respected. 2. Stanton and Anthony’s statistics.
Stanton died on Oct. 26th 1902
Anthony died on Mar. 13th 1906 B. Santon had a childhood that inspired her and taught her about women’s rights.
Santon was inspired when she was young to join the movement.
She had no brothers therefore she felt obliged to be the brother her parents never had.
Her dad was a lawyer and she often saw women come into his office and ask for legal help. He could never help them, and this made Stanton realize how they had no rights compared to
