Ellen Axson Wilson is seen as the forgotten first lady. She was the first lady from March 4, 1913, Woodrow Wilson’s Inauguration, till August 6, 1914, her death. Although, it maybe seen that there cannot be very much accomplished in those meer seventeen months of being the first lady, Ellen Axson Wilson proved everyone wrong that one can take such a small period of time and create a large impact on not only the world around her, but the future of all first ladies.
