In conclusion,I just proved how Emma Burke is showing her views of the 1906 earthquake and what she did in cause of it. Also this shows how people were helpful to one another.
In Dragonwings, the narrator Moon Shadow’s point of view of the 1906 earthquake was that it was bad and that it was scary for him because he was only nine and he didn’t know what to do or what to say.

In Dragonwings, Moon Shadow says, “A strange, eerie silence hung over the city. The bells had stilled in their steeples, and houses had stopped collapsing momentarily. It was as if the city itself were holding its breath. Then we could hear the hissing of gas from the broken pipes, like dozens of angry snakes, and people, trapped inside the mounds, began calling.”
This proves his point of view is that sometimes you have to work through your fears even when you don’t know what to do or say because if you don’t it would be harder for you in life and sometimes it could come to you
