Who would have thought animals have feelings? In the essay by Alice Walker "Am I Blue." The told a story about how and animal expressed feeling, and emotions with her. And how animals are treat today how we treated human’s years ago. Blues faced so many emotions that some humans today would curl up in a ball and cry about. How us as humans would think just because you’re not a human and cannot talk. That they are still other living and breathing beings and deserve the respect for others feelings. And how humans can carelessly treat others as they think animals should be treated.

Blue was cautious but also very curious what was another horse doing in his field. He soon built up the courage to meet his new friend. Before you know it Blue becomes close friends. Before you know it Blue is focusing all of his day keeping his new friends company. Before you know it Blue is bring his new friend to meet his human friend. He built trust with the human to want to share his time with the human and her. He was confident and happy to see both worlds with animal and human interaction come together.
The one-day Blue owners pack up Blue's one and only horse friends. And drive her down the dusty driveway. Blue screams and runs down the fence line as if he is going to stop her from leaving. He did understand what he was doing all he saw was red. What Blue didn't know is his owner used him to make a baby with the mare. Blue and the mare where being used for some sort of financial gain. Up until then Blue has trusted the humans to find out he was just being used. Blue soon settings down and became himself
