Engineering for the Future College is about getting an education not getting a certain grade. Getting a perfect GPA does not mean anything has been learned. Learning to use your surroundings to solve problems and work with what you have is the key because textbook answers do not always work. A master book for how to be an engineer cannot exist, engineers must learn as they go and make up thing along the way. It is not always having a set plan that makes an engineer great; it is being able to improvise and learn from failures. This is because the challenges of the past do not always reflect the challenges of the future. Failure is a major part in engineering; it is a good thing to fail. If an engineer has had time to have failures it means that they have had time to learn from their mistakes and maybe something good has come out of a failure.
Engineers must be creative. The world would be a split image of what it looked like in the beginning if there was no creativity. Nothing in the past hundred or thousand years would have changed if nobody had any creativity. It stems from wanting to have bigger and better. There is always going to be a want and need to advance and expand. Engineers make this possible by creating a product in their mind that maybe no one has ever seen and making it possible. A little bit over a century there was barely anything technological about the world but coming in to the 20th and 21st century everything
