I am writing a paper on the many things I learned in English 091. Some of the things I’ll be talking about will include my performance in class, if I would retake this class, what I’ve learned about myself and working with others. One of the things I did well in this class was the Presidential Facebook page. I received 100/100 which surprised me, because I wasn’t familiar with the candidate I choose. I did so well professor Ozz asked me if she could use my paper to show her colleagues. Also, I did well on majority of my chapter grammar quizzes. One of those things was to accept others feedback on my assignments. This allowed me to accept constructive criticism and improve on my assignments. Working with others has also made me feel comfortable with posting my essays and outlines on the discussion board. This also, helped me get out of my comfort zone and socialize with my peers. Although I dislike socializing among other students. I believe it benefits me and helped improve my social skills. I learned many things about myself in this class such as believing in myself. I felt like I wasn’t going to do so well because, I’ve been out of school for so long. I received good grades on certain assignments I didn’t think I would do well on. Some of those assignments were my essays and outlines. I also learned about voting which encouraged me to vote for the first time ever! I now know I can accomplish anything if I set my mind to it and work hard enough to achieve my goals. In summary, the things I’ve learned in English 091 are very useful for me. Over this course I believe my writing skills have grown. I have also improved my socializing skills which will benefit in the long run. Another thing I learned was that if you work hard enough you will succeed. Nevertheless, this was a very educative and enjoyable class. It was a great way to start my collage
