When I first decided to take English 1302 I didn't know what to expect. I thought that it would be similar to English 1301. However, my expectations for this class were exceeded. I learned a lot from this course and developed skills such as differentiating between whether a source was bias or not, and correctly citing resources. Like every other student, my aim was to get an "A" in this course. However, this semester I tried to focus on the material more than the grade itself. That really helped in improving my writing skills as well as my analysis skills. Also, the weekly reading assignments came in handy because I was able to skim through my resources at a faster rate.
