As english class has never been a personal strength, I feel as if I was able to gain a lot, just from taking this course. There were numerous concepts in this class that were able to help me bridge the gap between highschool essays and a more constructed research base paper. Particularly, the two essays that I felt as if I was able to get the most out of was the ones where my opinion was not involved. In this instance, I was challenged to think outside of my own thoughts and opinions, in an effort to captivate all the researched information in hopes of piecing together a strong concluding paper with a purpose. To speak to my strengths in this course, I believed I used many concepts in this class and to the best of my ability tried to implement
