Environmental justice is the fair treatment of all races and cultures in terms of development, implementation and enforcement of political and economic strength. The aboriginals of Canada consisting of three major groups: First nations, Métis and Inuit have become victims of environmental injustice as they are forced to bear a disproportionate share of the water pollution issues due to lack of environmental laws, regulations and policies.
