Both the author of The Crucible, Arthur Miller and the era of the Red Scare showed the spread of fear through their timeline in history, and as we start to talk about both those past events, we can began to see the similarities and differences that evolved in both of them. One of the main events that have happened through the time phrase of the 1950’s, is the Cuban Missile Crisis, which have struck fear to many non communist people that have lived in the US at that period of time. Firstly, there was a huge rivalry between very big powers in the world, which were the Soviet Union which supported communist ideas, and on the other side of the world, on the east side, their was the US which have supported non communist ideas. One day the Soviet Union , have decided that they would want to travel and make an agreement with a country named Cuba, which at the time was rolled by a leader named Fidel Castro. The Soviets and Castro have came to an agreement that Soviets will be able to plant bombs in the Island, which was believed as a static plan from the Soviets to scare and bring fear to many US citizens
