The 1920’s one of the most important era in U.S. history when things changed dramatically in every aspect of the society. During 1920’s America became the powerful economy of the world. Daily lives of American were changed by growth in economy and new innovations in technology. After the world war1 and later on world war2 America became an industrial nation. Americans were first to wear ready-made exact size clothing. They were first to use electric vacuum cleaners, and to listen to commercial radio broadcast. Cigarettes, fibers, and cosmetics became staples of American life, this period is also known as ‘roaring twenties’. The period of 1920 to 1929 was called roaring twenties. Many of natural resources such as timber, coal, minerals, and oil these resources were the important foundation for the society. The effects of the radio, car culture and the birth of jazz age played important role. Radio broadcasting even more spectacular growth, the first radio commercial aired in New York in 1922. There were 508 stations and some 3 million radios in use. The mass production of automobiles changed and social life during the twentieth century. . Henry ford came with the affordable cars of new America. The price of car was around 290 dollars in 1925 which was much cheaper than 850 dollars in 1908. By 1929 Americans owned 23 million cars thousands of jobs, and also built fuel station and hotels. Later on this credit system led debt of consumer which was more than double between (1920 to 1930). In order to purchase the other goods and automobiles the new system the hire purchases and credit card were introduced. Now people started to buy cars on credit cards. Departments store opened up credit
