The aggressive sociopath is self-explanatory. An aggressive person is someone is on a consistent sadistic streak. Some people enjoy hurting others, getting some type of pleasure from it. It gives them a sense of empowerment and importance. It becomes evident why this is a characteristic trait of a sociopath. Described rapists, killers, muggers and other violent criminal all derive strong gratification from the dominance and control they have over their victims. A sociopath’s mentality is solely out for self. Anything that can help them obtain power or put themselves in a position to benefit from. The fact the term sociopath is similar to psychopath says a lot. For one, most psychopaths have proven to be notorious serial killers. An aggressive sociopath can become one along certain proteins. The absence of morality and a conscience makes being an aggressor and sociopath an easy transition. They already consider themselves superior to everyone else, and surprisingly enough most controlled sociopaths are categorized in this section. For an example, that would be the lawyers, businessmen, politicians, law enforcement, and the military. Most sociopaths have never been arrested, such as the people in the categories listed. All of these professions provides outlets for a sociopath to channel their antisocial and extremely aggressive behavior into. This type of sociopath is the most likely to have a life of violence. Most that are in positions of power, just end up channeling their behavior into something positive. Sociopathy all starts from the instant a child is born.
