I chose this topic because the Alabama softball team has been a huge impact on my life. I have always wanted to be on their team and learn different things about how they worked. I have always wanted to be apart of the crimson tide. One of my biggest question is always how did alabama softball get started. Alabama has also been an big impact on the SEC because they have practiced and made a good show and won many National Championships.

First, I am going to talk about how women’s athletics at alabama got started.(Guenther) In 1974 it really started to show that women’s sports at alabama started to become a success. They are one of the nation’s best women’s athletic program. Alabama is one of the best softball programs in the SEC. Alabama opened a athletic and club sports program. The women’s athletics made a huge addition to the programs and the college. Women’s sports started to take over the amount of education places the college had. Alabama is a huge program and it took a lot of time. In 1996-97 alabama softball was added and became the 11th funded program of athletics that was offered. Alabama softball has been an extremely successful program. In 1989 there were only 8 developed programs, and they only had less than 2 million dollars

Where he went to college is Northern Iwoa. He has taken Alabama softball to the top of the college softball world, in his hard work and great coaching. They have won 10 women’s college world series with him as their head coach. He is very happy that they have fans who are very loyal and believe in the amazing team. Any other coach in the entire nation would want numbers like those for their team. He has showed people that if you work hard you can achieve anything you believe in. His teams are so successful on the field, in the classroom and with anything they
