Can you imagine going out to the store and buying a bath bomb with excitement filling every inch of your body, but just to find out that there bathbomb barely had a fizzy effect? Why? Every year, 600 people are seriously injured in scalding baths and 20 people die from their injuries. So it's always best to have your water temperature 37°C or 89.6°F or lower to have a more enjoyable bathtime.
Since bath bombs have become the latest fascination there hasn't been many experiments done with them. But Fortunately I did find one. But the reaction of this acid-base combination can be controlled by the other ingredients in the bath bomb. Even though they did a different experiment than what I am thinking of doing, our experiments are quite similar. For example, a common thing we're measuring in our experiments is fizziness.
Concluding my research, I now know more about what a bath bomb is, what citric acid is and what it does, the ideal bath water temperature. So for my project I want to figure out how different water temperatures affect the fizziness in a bath bomb. No more boring baths for everyone, I hope to find a way to make bath time more enjoyable and lasts
