In schools today the people who are well known are the ones who have “dated” everyone. In Brave New World if you were with one person for too long, it was frowned on. Students no longer need high, good grades to graduate. They just need the basic credits to move on. In Brave New World they only learn what they are taught when they are little, they cannot change and learn more. We see this when Linda was unable to adapt in the camp, she couldn’t cook or sew even though the other women showed her how to. In schools today they only teach us what they think we need to know. When it comes to being creative I think the school limits us, they don’t want us to learn what we want to because it’s for college. Our world today is close to Brave New World in more than one way.
