INTRODUCTION Canada is a huge geographical magnitude with a large number of notable indigenous people and composed of mixed and exclusive cultures. Canada identity alludes to distinct cultures, attributes and feature of being a citizen of Canada. The image that represent Canadians and Canada from other cultures and peoples of the world is the identity of Canada. A bilingual speaking country which focuses on establishing a law-abiding citizen. Building a strong social support of ethnic groups that reflects its identity. Canada identity is defined by its various cultural values. Which includes the freedom of practice of any kind of religion and culture. Canada cannot be identified without involving the diverse cultures, which …show more content…
Accommodating diverse culture, religion, values and beliefs represents Canada identity. Ensuring equal rights for eligible citizens defines Canada identity. Accepting immigrants from all over the world and refugees seeking asylum also describes Canada identity. Some Canadians are humble and can start a conversation with anybody with a smile regardless of colour of skin. Canada identity is viewed by the multicultural concept of the country. It is a law-abiding country where there are penalties for criminal acts. These identities have been created by Canadians and Immigrant in Canada. Immigrants was given opportunity to air their views and to practice their religion, value and beliefs. Taxes are very essential in Canada because it is the basics on which the country is maintained. Examples of which the tax are used adequately are in the areas of their good health system, low house income and child care plan. This identity differentiates us from other countries around the world. The legalizing of same sex marriage is an example of Canada identity where choices of people speak and are accepted. Canada try to manage racists, since it is a country occupied by different people from all over the world.
