America or walking round balls?
Did you know? According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the percentage of children aged 6-11 years old in the United States who were obese increased from 7% in the 1890 to nearly 18% in 2012. Given that, Childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 yrs. So what is it in America that we have our children getting larger by the second that we have “Obesity” named a disorder. In where a child has too much unnecessary fat. If children aren’t driven to play outside it’ll be too late and the consequences are later to be faced. For example, a child must be monitored in what they eat and consume. This is where the food group comes in. The group helps better understand what should be included in a child’s daily diet, like vegetables, and fruits that keep them active and strong throughout the day. It’s important to know that when carelessness is preformed towards children they’re in danger to being exposed to foods that can be in poor health. There’s also the uncertainty of fast food restaurants. Oh boy, and that’s a bad one. A normal Burger King Whopper has an average of 670 calories and 40 g of fat. Can you say, Fattening? Neglect comes in the picture when parents that are considered forgetful either feed their child with foods like these when they don’t have
