Their is a big problem in modern day America. Today people around the world are getting serious diseases like diabetes, malnutrition and all sorts of terrible things like that. The reason for this is the lack of fresh food now a days. If you are in a urban area like a city it could not be very easy to obtain these organic foods. Some people do not have enough money and are forced to go to convenience stores for their food which can lead to many malnutrition deficiencies. Another reason is because their are not many farms anymore that people can get local food from.Way back in the olden days most people worked on the farm. But now according to the architectural survey that was done in 1998 it proves that 2% of people in america do the old fashion America job, farming. According to a 2015 online census survey farming still only makes up 2% of the jobs in America, (American Farm Bureau Investigation). So with America not making many fresh food or produce how can we get rid of diseases and conflicts like diabetes in America.
