Gang violence is a very serious topic. Most of the killings that come from gang violence will come from pride. Pride is a very important factor when it comes to a “Gang”. Gangs aren’t just in big cities, they’re everywhere. Most of the time, in order to get into a gang, you have to pass a certain initiation. A lot of these initiations will include violent and illegal activities. While doing so, they will most likely injure or actually kill an innocent person. They may rape a young girl, kill a young boy, or kill their rivals. Most gang members will own a gun or some other type of weapon. Gangs in general seem to be ignored. If cops really wanted to get the number of homicides to go down, they’d actually take some type of step into bettering the situation. Certain actions can definitely improve the issue. For example, they can have more influential programs for teens so that they’ll grow up knowing what’s right and what’s wrong. If the kids are taught well then it’s more likely that they’ll refuse to join a gang. The less teens joining a gang, the less violent activities the world will have. It seems as if the problem doesn’t want to be approached or handled with. If everyone who saw this as a big issue would step in and help out, we as a nation would be able to overcome this obstacle. The number of murders would go down.
In conclusion, I believe that gang violence is very serious in our generation and should be handled with very thoroughly. Gangs will bring a lot of negativity into this world. All the negativity could be brought down a lot. If only people worldwide would take action, I know that we can spread positivity in this world. So much can be done if we take action together. We can change many teens lives. Changing one person’s life will eventually benefit someone else as well. Not only will we be helping out a particular person, but we’ll slowly be helping each other
