I have faced many problems in my life but my encounter with Grendel has proven to be my greatest obstacle. Grendel was terrorizing a town and was killing people during the night. He was a bloodthirsty monster who hated mankind. He did this for days and the monster believed he was clever enough to get away with it. However, little did he know one night there was a trap that I created all by myself. The soldiers dressed up on their gear, pretended to be asleep, and attacked when the beast when they heard the monster. They tried their best to hurt him but his skin was so hard they could not cut through it. However, he began to grow weak and it gave me the chance to tie up his claws. I then continued to tear Grendel’s hands and with no power left in Grendel his arm was ripped off by me. After this occurred he flew back to the marsh and waited there till he died. I had single handedly killed this monster and was left behind with a trophy,his arm, which i hung up for all to see. This encounter gave me fame and glory which helped looked excellent on my application to Lake Fire University.
This defeat led to another encounter with the mother which I gladly got rid of. The mother had killed a close friend of mine and I went to confront her. Although my sword broke i found a magnificent sword which i used to cut her head clean off. These …show more content…
The steps i took was to become a hero in my people’s eyes and gain their loyalty.fighting these battles led to people having this perception of me. I had to use my analytical skills to analyze the situation to find the monsters weak spots and defeat it. the outcome of my actions resulted in me getting injured but me getting remembered.this is very important to me.as a college you should pay great attention to people who want to be remembered and successful when faced with tasks because that will also
