Hispanic cultures include large number of family members. The hispanics include Mexico American, Puerto Rican, and Cuban. They believe on making prayers or doing some home health remedies to avoid seeking for medical help. Hispanics have beliefs about mal del ojo, consists on a person seeing a child and the child becomes ill because the person didn’t touch him/her to prevent the malaise feelings. "Mal o“o, or “evile eye,” is an illness that affects children and occurs when someone with special powers looks at or admires a child but does not touch or hold the child” (Leifer 361).
The child from 2 to seven years are in the certain growth and development stages. The child is in the toddler and preschooler stage from 2 to 7 years, at these stage the child starts exploring, observing getting to know the world and they may have thoughts about others seeing the world as self see its. They also start learning that for every act the commit they will be adverse consequences.
