For my graduation project, I chose to do "Job Shadowing and Internship". I'm a musician (a guitarist) so I decided that I would teach a few kids how to play the instrument. I chose it because I thought that it would help me develop my passion for music even more and to be completely honest with you... it actually did! I thought it was a really cool experience because I was able to see how my passion for music was being transmitted into their lives. Throughout my journey I've noticed that music can do a lot these days, music is used in rehabilitation programs, hospitals, schools, churches... music is basically everywhere. "Huge proportion of today's global population listens to music" (How Popular Musicians Learn), its crazy how much music has grown over the years because it's a global thing now. Everyone is listening to music from infants to the elderly. I personally think music is going to be a forever thing, music is never going to get old because "Music is the universal language, we are told the language of the emotions’’ (What is Music? One of the many reasons why I decided to pursue a career in music is because I noticed that music changes the way that people feel, it plays with their emotions, and it also affects their personality. For Example, if a person is sad and they listen to an up-tempo happy song, their mood is affected and eventually, they would be happy but if the person who's sad listened to a sad song they will start to feel even sadder.
